Small update with mounting tracks and wheels on the hull. Gun and spare track are gluing in place.

King Tiger – Berlin – Part 01

Nouveau projet avant la mise en peinture du Panther D, un King Tiger du s.Pz.Abt. 503 lors de la bataille de Berlin.

 New project before painting Panther D, a King Tiger of s.Pz.Abt. 503 at the Battle of Berlin.

L’originalité de cette version est que le char est recouvert de ‘’Textiltarnung’’, procédé destiné à dissimuler le tank en milieux urbain.

The originality of this version is that the tank is covered with ‘’Textiltarnung’’ method for to camouflage tank in urban environments.

J’utilise pour ce projet la maquette Tamiya qui sera améliorée par un peu de photodécoupe, un canon en aluminium Eduard et des chenilles Friul.

I use for this project Tamiya’s model that will be improved by photoetched, Eduard’s  aluminum barrel and Friul tracks.

Dernière mise à jour pour 2013. Après plusieurs mois de montage, entrecoupés par le travail sur d’autres maquettes, le Panther D est enfin terminé. Je mets maintenant de côté ce projet pour me consacrer à un nouveau pour lequel j’ai un impératif de temps pour la réalisation. La peinture se fera courant 2014.

Last update for 2013. After several months of work, cut by working on other kits, the Panther D is finally done. I put now this project aside to devote myself to a new one for which I have an imperative time for completion. The painting will take place during 2014.

Avec cette dernière mise à jour pour 2013, je vous souhaite une très bonne année 2014.

Last report on the commemoration of the 69th anniversary of BOB with a visit to Bastogne Barracks camp, particularly the restoration workshops exceptionally open to the public for the évènement and armor collections hangar.

Petite mise à jour avant Noël avec le montage du Panther D qui se termine. Si je tiens mon programme, la maquette sera terminée pour fin de cette année.
